GALLERY NIGHT | LIVE: Discordia presents Nick Modrzewski

Lobby, NEXT hotel, 103 Little Collins St, Melbourne

Furlough is a masked performance featuring ten disguised city workers in a bizarre twist of the everyday mundane. Taking place as lockdown restrictions lift and Melbournians begin to return from leaves of absence, or ‘furloughs’, Modrzewski’s work celebrates the transition of workers back into city-life and creates a colourful spectacle of the once familiar experience of “the commute”.

Nick Modrzewski is presented by Discordia (Melbourne Art Fair, Booth G4).

LIVE is presented by Glenfiddich and supported by City of Melbourne. GALLERY NIGHT is presented as part of the Broadsheet LATE NIGHTS program, and is supported by City of Melbourne through the Events Partnership Program (EPP).
