Marina Rolfe

Australia

D.O.B: 31/03/1989

An exciting painter who takes great joy in her sensual art, Marina Rolfe is a rising star of Australian art. With compositions based on landscape imagery, Rolfe’s paintings take flight into the atmosphere, morphing into a tangle of instinctive mark-marking and heady clouds of oil paint. This is art that you can spend a long time looking at. With a recent shift to large-scale canvases inspired by the artist’s love of hiking, Rolfe’s oeuvre is climbing from strength to strength.

Marina Rolfe (b. 1989) relocated to Australia in 2009. Following her completion of a Masters of Contemporary Art at the Victorian College of the Arts in 2022, she became the inaugural recipient of the ARC ONE Artist Opportunity. She has exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Berlin, Russia, Brisbane, and Melbourne and was listed in the Design Files as one of the ‘Must-Know Breakout Australian Creatives’ in 2023. She currently lives and works in Naarm/Melbourne.
