OAKEY is a multidisciplinary artist based on Kaurna Yerta (Adelaide, South Australia). Her
practice encompasses sculpture, site-specific installations, performance, video, and sound.
Working out of Central Studios, she creates work that responds to both urban and natural
environments using a diverse range of materials.

Drawing from her immersive experiences in varied natural settings, from the Amazon to
Timbuktu, OAKEY has developed a profound fascination with the interconnectedness of the
living world and the magic and wonder within it. Her creative process delves into the realms
of unseen forces, networks, and spaces, operating on both a cellular and cosmic level. Her
work particularly focuses on exploring consciousness, hidden energies, and the healing
power of plants and nature, while also incorporating her keen interest in science and
geometry. OAKEY was an ACE Studio Artist in 2020.
