Join ceramicist and host of 3CR B.I.T.E (Blak is the essence) program, Sofii Belling-Harding, as she speaks with founder and designer of Gammin Threads, Tahnee Edwards. Audiences will learn how and why Gammin Threads was established, as well as what inspires Tahnee’s iconic designs. Tahnee will share important insights into her process in collaborating with other First Peoples designers and artists, and her thoughts on the groundswell of Indigenous fashion.

Gammin Threads is a Blak-owned streetwear label by Yorta Yorta & Taungurung designer Tahnee Edwards. Based in Naarm/Melbourne, the brand celebrates culture, community, and cool aunties—blending contemporary streetwear with storytelling, language, and IYKYK humour.

To attend this conversation, please ensure you’ve purchased your Melbourne Art Fair ticket.

This conversation is curated by Janina Harding (VFPADF), and presented by Guardian Australia.
