Accompany Arts Project Australia (APA) strictly-cat artist Joanne Nethercote to embroider a
beloved feline on a miniature scale, as a tiny artwork or a patch for your jacket.
Joanne Nethercote is an emerging artist working with acrylic on paper and embroidery.
She has a strong interest in cats, a subject matter close to her heart. Her acrylic works are flat in composition, balancing a tranquil mood with harmony of colour. Her embroidery holds a similar style and demonstrates a sensibility to contrasting materials and moving compositions. Nethercote has worked at Arts Project Australia since 2018.
Presented by: Joanne Nethercote and Carolyn Hawkins
Location: Arts Project Australia Studio, Booth K10
