Brought to life with Whiskey’s ongoing study and celebration of the iconography of popular culture, the new video work is imbued with joyful storytelling told in strikingly contemporary stylings. Melbourne Art Foundation and ACMI went behind the scenes to see Whiskey creating the live-action dreamscape with her community, from her happy place on Aṉangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara Lands.
