Rebecca Hossack Art Gallery
London
The Rebecca Hossack Art Gallery was established in 1988 in Central London; it has recently opened a new space in Miami. Over thirty-five years it has cultivated an international reputation for its diverse roster of artists and represented estates, and particularly for its expertise in the field of Australian Aboriginal art, and other non-Western indigenous traditions.
Active in both the primary and secondary markets in the UK, USA and Asia, the gallery assists collectors in the acquisition of contemporary art of outstanding provenance. It exhibits regularly at first-rank international art fairs, making sales to significant public institutions, corporate collections and private individuals worldwide. In addition to the gallery program, Rebecca Hossack lectures and writes extensively on intercultural traditions of contemporary art. The gallery maintains an important library of Western and Indigenous art publications, which is available to visiting scholars and curators.
