Established in 1995, Jan Murphy Gallery is situated in Fortitude Valley, the heart of Queensland’s arts precinct. Over the past twenty seven years, the gallery has taken its place as a leading Australian gallery, dedicated to the promotion of contemporary art of the highest calibre.

The gallery represents a select group of outstanding early to mid-career artists, across a range of mediums. They are focused on building the profiles of their represented artists nationally and internationally, showcasing their work in solo exhibitions, curated projects and major art fair presentations. Gallery exhibitions are complimented by a dynamic program of artist talks, studio visits and collector events to encourage a deeper engagement with contemporary art discourse. Jan Murphy Gallery regularly collaborates with major institutions on curated exhibitions including biennials, surveys and large scale public art projects.
