Hand-crafting the everyday ephemera and experiences of collective memory, @kennypittock's works are humorous microcosms of the greater anxieties that face our world today. At Melbourne Art Fair, @marsgallery (Naarm/Melbourne) will present ‘Poems and Portraits’, showcasing a new series of Pittock's unique ceramic shopping lists. Inspired by the real text on one anonymous, discarded shopping list recovered by Pittock, ‘Poems & Portraits’ reminds us of the universality of the mundane.

Michael Cook employs the camera as the supreme int

Michael Cook employs the camera as the supreme intermediary device - the 'third eye’ which can bridge European and Indigenous worlds and perspectives. Through his photography, Cook critically examines the historic and present-day treatment of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in Australia. The photograph is, for Cook, that imaginary place of possibility where we can be invited to experience the other side of the coin, roles in reversal, worlds inverted, histories re-written.

Last night, Melbourne Art Fair joined @loewe to celebrate the launch of the LOEWE x Suna Fujita collection in an intimate event at LOEWE’s Collins Street store. Jonathan Anderson’s reprised collaboration with the Kyoto-based ceramicist duo debuts in Australasia with an exclusive exhibition of twenty ceramic pieces in LOEWE’s Melbourne boutique, alongside a playful collection of ready-to-wear, bags and accessories, featuring whimsical characters that transform everyday pieces into dreamlike works of art.

Sharing a commitment to supporting living artists and creatives, Melbourne Art Fair is proud to partner with LOEWE to celebrate the launch of the LOEWE x Suna Fujita collaboration. The collection is available now in LOEWE boutiques and online.

At Melbourne Art Fair next year, @noel.mckenna's works will be showcased by @niagaragalleries (Naarm/Melbourne). The solo presentation will highlight his offbeat depictions of everyday scenes, often including displaced objects, people and animals - movingly depicting their relationships.

Melbourne Art Fair is thrilled to welcome @moa_art

Melbourne Art Fair is thrilled to welcome @moa_arts (Mua Lag/Moa Island) back for a second year in 2025, presenting a solo exhibition of works by Paula Savage.

Paula is a proud Mualgal woman from the Serganilgal clan group from the village of Dabu on Moa Island, and the Kaurareg Nation of Muralag and Kiriri. A senior artist at Moa Arts, she works mostly with black and white lino prints and colour monoprints but is perhaps best known for her elaborately crafted island-style weaving and her unique, graphic style.

The art centre's participation is supported through the William Mora Indigenous Art Centre Program, an initiative of the Fair which will host four Indigenous-owned art centres for a second year, focusing on consolidating the opportunities initially developed at the 2024 Fair.

Established in 2022, the WMIACP initiative supports the participation of Indigenous-owned art centres within a fair of national significance, funded by the Australian Government through the Indigenous Visual Arts Industry Support (IVAIS) program, and generously supported by Morgans Financial Ltd @morgans.australia. This program recognises the vital role art centres play in sustaining First Nations arts and communities, and in sharing the stories of Indigenous Australians.

Yorta Yorta artist Peta Clancy's practice is premised on in-depth depiction/s of place through photography. She aims to reconstruct and bring to light hidden histories of colonisation that have been missed, veiled, or denied, re-focusing our perspectives on Indigenous sites of significance.

At Melbourne Art Fair 2025, her works will be presented by @dominikmerschgallery (Gadigal Country/Sydney) along with sculptural works by Andrew Rogers.
