8 Wall Gallery is a contemporary art space on Gadigal Country in Sydney’s Paddington Arts Precinct, founded and directed by Sam Houben. Established in 2025 and led by Indigenous women from Oceania, the gallery is dedicated to supporting the next generation of contemporary artists from across the Pacific and its global diasporas. Through an ambitious exhibition program, 8 Wall Gallery champions emerging and established voices whose practices engage with identity, community, and cultural exchange. Grounded in Indigenous knowledge systems and values, the gallery fosters meaningful connections between artists, audiences, and institutions across Australia, Aotearoa, and the Americas.
