Daniel Barbera fuses design, science and art through his deeply experimental practise, situated in Melbourne/Naarm. Drawing from decades of experience, Daniel has cultivated a deep material expertise for bronze, which he forms into sumptuous organic and sculptural objects with uncompromising functional integrity. Given his industrial design background, Daniel’s artwork leans heavily on material experimentation including continued enquiry into the possibilities of bronze and a more recent foray into glass.
