Blak Dot Gallery
PROJECT ROOM
Blak Dot Gallery is Australia’s leading Indigenous-led gallery and living art space for contemporary First Peoples art – created to champion the strength, innovation, and cultural knowledge of First Peoples artists, and to celebrate connections with world Indigenous cultures and communities.
Blak Dot is committed to creating spaces where First Peoples artists can share their stories, practices, and lived experiences while continually redefining and evolving contemporary culture through customary forms, experimental approaches, or mixed-media practices. Alongside this core focus, Blak Dot also welcomes collaborations with world Indigenous communities whose practices resonate with our values of cultural resilience, self-determination, and community knowledge. These relationships extend our understanding of Indigenous and diasporic connections, while always centring First Peoples voices.
